Nadler to open hotel at Manchester's St John's development
Developer Allied London confirmed that the hotel group is to create a 10-floor hotel within a new residential tower at the development in the St John's area of the city, formerly home to Granada Studios.
The hotel, which will mark Nadler's first step into Manchester, will sit below residential apartments, cafes and restaurants in the tower and will include a mixture of contemporary rooms and suites fitted with mini-kitchens and bathrooms. It is scheduled to open in 2019.
Allied London chief executive Michael Ingall said: “We are making homes – and homes away from home at St. John’s Place; we are creating a place for the future, and we are doing it with quality design and unrivalled brands. Nadler are a great fit for St. John’s and for Manchester; their hotel will be stylish, smart and welcoming and will form a huge part of the St. John’s Place lifestyle when it launches in 2019.”
Nadler Hotels CEO Robert Nadler, whose company operates three hotels in London and one in Liverpool, said: “Allied London’s developments are all about creating communities. Our hotels differentiate themselves from other brands through our emphasis on sustainability, in particular social sustainability. We are therefore very excited to be working in partnership with a land-owner who shares our ethos.”
The St John's Place tower will form the gateway to Allied London's new St John's development which focuses on turning the former Granada Studios site into a place for people to live and work.
