Base2Stay to become Nadler Hotels with launch of Nadler Soho

The 78-bedroom hotel in Soho's Carlisle Street will open its doors to guests in May under the company's new name, which has been chosen to better reflect the company's position within the market and help with its plans for expansion across Europe. 

Nadler Hotels chief executive Robert Nadler said: "Nadler Hotels is an evolution from the successful base2stay concept. All the core values and services remain the same though the new name better reflects the demands of the London and international market.

"Our guests can still expect city-centre locations, interior designed, well planned rooms, discreet in-room mini-kitchens, Nespresso machines, high quality linen and free Wi-Fi, together with excellent service and what we believe to be a new level of integration with the local community."

Integration​

The first base2stay opened in Kensington in 2006 with Liverpool following in 2010. The company's ethos is to provide 'affordable luxury' by giving guests access to rooms of varying sizes depending on budget and specifications. 

Food and beverage spaces are not included in Nadler Hotels properties. Instead the company provides mini kitchens in rooms, takeaway menus and details of nearby restaurants for guests to visit. 

A spokesperson for the company said: "The hotels are different from others in that they don't provide room service or have restaurants in-house. They actively promote places outside the hotel and have discounts with local restaurants, or allow guests to bring food in. The idea is that they are in such strong city-centre locations that there is no need to provide restaurants within the hotel."

Base2stay Liverpool will continue to trade under the same name following the re-launch, but all new hotels will open under the Nadler Hotels name. The company's spokesperson said expansion plans were on the cards with more London locations as well as locations in Paris and Zurich being considered.
