Nico Simeone plots fifth Glasgow restaurant
His burgeoning restaurant group Six by Nico, which was founded by Simeone in Finnieston in Glasgow 2017, has applied to Glasgow City Council for signage on the site of former La Choza Mexican restaurant on Albion Street.
The business is seeking permission to display three signs that will be illuminated with warm white LED lights, according to Glasgow Times.
A building warrant has also been submitted asking for approval of internal alterations.
If granted it would be the fourth Six by Nico restaurant in Glasgow from the restaurant group, which also has sites in Southside and Byres Road, and a fifth in total, alongside his non-profit restaurant Beat 6, which is located in the Bearsden area of the city.
Six by Nico recently announced that it would open its second restaurant in Manchester in the city’s Deansgate area.
The new 72-cover regularly changing tasting menu restaurant will open on John Dalton Street on 30 November.
