Pizza Punks to open fourth venue in Leeds
The new restaurant will open on the city’s Bond Street and join its existing venues in Glasgow, Belfast and Newcastle.
The brand is known for its bespoke approach to pizza, with customers having the option to choose from more than 50 toppings to put on its double-fermented dough pizzas for a flat price. The restaurant also serves a range of pasta dishes and craft beers and cocktails.
“At Pizza Punks we do things differently and don’t conform to the norm when it comes to making incredible food that appeals to everyone. We offer customers the freedom to make the experience their own because pizza is the new punk and there are no hard and fast rules with it. Our restaurants provide the perfect spot for meeting with friends and family, sharing great food and drinks and having an epic time,” says owner Brad Stevens.
In 2019 Pizza Punks was voted the best Italian restaurant in the UK in the Deliveroo Restaurant Awards.
Last year the company launched a crowdfund campaign to feed 2,500 NHS staff across its three UK locations in Glasgow, Belfast and Newcastle. During lockdown it sent pizza to staff at the Royal Infirmary and Queen Elizabeth hospitals in Glasgow and RVI in Newcastle.
