The Orange Buffalo food truck to settle into the Hoxton Bar & Kitchen later this month
Popular street food outfit The Orange Buffalo are to take over the kitchen at the Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen in East London.

The Orange Buffalo started out in 2012 as a Brick Lane-based food truck but owners Nick White and Mike So have since taken over the kitchen at Brighton pub The Joker and say they will soon announce their first London based franchisee in collaboration with Franchise Growth & Development.

Opening on 11 October, the new location will serve a number of items that are not available at the brands other locations including a ‘bloody’ veggie burger, which involves a beetroot, chestnut mushroom, brown rice and almond patty topped with Swiss cheese, tomato, lettuce, blue cheese dressing and pickle.

Also available at the new site will The Orange Buffalo’s signature chicken wings, which can be ordered with a choice of six homemade hot sauces at different spice levels, ranging from ‘original’ to the Scotch bonnet and naga-based ‘woof woof’. Diners will also be able to try the ‘Snake in a basket’- a basket of original wings, with one ‘viper’ super-spicy wing hidden amongst them. The ‘anti venom’ (a mini milk ice lolly) is provided for the diner who gets the spicy wing.

A selection of sides are also available, consisting of snacks such as curly fries; onion rings; and deep fried pickles.

All menu items will be available for takeaway and delivery.
