Randy's Wing Bar is doubling up with new site in the City

Chicken wing restaurant Randy’s Wing Bar is opening a sister site in Aldgate at the end of the month.

The new 56-cover restaurant will serve the same menu as at the brand’s Stratford flagship, with a selection of new dishes exclusive to the Aldgate site.

New dishes include boneless wings; baked oysters; and a selection of sliders including veal.

Alongside the brand’s existing wing sauces (Buffalo with blue cheese; Kansas barbecue; sticky Korean; harissa and sumac; and coriander and Sichuan pepper) the Aldgate site will offer a new sauce exclusive to the restaurant.

Burgers will be available, as well as loaded fries; coleslaw; salads; and a brownie dessert with dulce de leche and ice cream.

A selection of salad boxes, wraps and wings will be available from a take-away counter, to cater for the location’s city workers.

A cocktail menu, created by Stu Bale, will be available alongside a selection of craft beers.

The site will be serve food from 11:30am to 10pm and will be open daily until midnight.

Randy’s Wing Bar was founded in 2013 by Richard Thacker and Andy Watts who also founded the chicken wing festival London Wing Fest.

The pair aim to reach between five and 10 sites over all, Big Hospitality’s sister publication MCA has reported.
