Italian wine bar Enoteca Da Luca to open fifth and biggest London site
The group, which operates as a wine shop as well as a wine bar with a small plates menu, is set to open at the Bower development across a three-floor space with an outside terrace. The new venue will be the largest of the five sites, at 1,000 sq ft, with 120 covers (80 inside, 40 outside).
There will also be a soft launch initially offering 50 per cent off food. This restaurant will form part of the company's plans to consolidate its existing business.
Having first opened in Devonshire Square and owned by restaurateurs Robert Dora and Marie Weston, Enoteca Da Luca also operates sites at the Guildhall, St. Paul’s, in Devonshire Square, and Mayfair.
The Bower development at Old Street is a 320,000 sq ft development, with a section focusing on restaurant and retail space. Other concepts within the space include the coffee brand Shoreditch Grind.
