Taking place on 30-31 October, the event is a ‘one-stop shop’ for hoteliers, with business sessions, trend reports and new product and service showcases all on offer. Over 300 suppliers, service providers and industry experts will be exhibiting – almost double that of last year.
“The show has developed dramatically since its launch, offering this ever-expanding market an even greater breadth of services and advice,” said Tim Etchells, managing director of SME London, which organises the show.
“We have strived to ensure that the exhibitor and visitor profile always stays relevant and fresh, evolving into a position where the event becomes the definitive event for luxury and boutique hotels.”
Some of the hospitality industry’s leading entrepreneurs and operators will be providing trends analysis, hotel market intelligence, operational tips and marketing knowledge throughout the two-day event,

Key show features include The Hub, a central networking area; The Business Clinic, which will offer free one-to-one advice for anything from accountancy to HR and property management; and the Destination Spa and Breakfast, Bedroom & Bar which will showcase the best suppliers in their respective industries.
The suppliers will span categories such as interior design, technology and software, audio and entertainment, hotel products and amenities and health and wellness – including Samsung Electronics UK, Nespresso, Ecompter, Jealous Gallery, Tivoli Audio and Sipsmith Independent Spirits.
In the Business Solutions theatre, Nick Jones, chief executive of Soho House Group, will join Pride of Britain chief executive Peter Hancock and Gordon Campbell Gray of Campbell Gray Hotels to discuss ‘the definitive hoteliers of our time’; while renowned entrepreneur Luke Johnson, chairman of Risk Capital Partners, will share candid advice on how to achieve transformational growth through acquisitions, roll-out programmes and bold, organic growth strategies.
Industry Issues
Meanwhile, in the Industry Issues theatre, Tina Conran of the acclaimed Conran & Partners design practice will uncover the branding and design techniques used by the world’s leading hotel designers. Roberto Pajares, general manager of The Ampersand Hotel, Rafael Bejerano, director of AB Hotels Ltd UK, Robert Nadler, chief executive of Nadler Hotels and Mark Fuller, owner of Sanctum Soho Hotel, will also take to the stage to discuss why London has become one of the most resilient and lucrative markets in the hospitality world.
BigHospitality’s editor Emma Eversham will also be among the speakers at the event, in a discussion entitled ‘The importance of the written word’; offering advice on how to gain positive editorial across all written publications.
Also running as part of the event on Wednesday evening is the Independent Hotelier of the Year Award and the Outstanding New Hotel of the Year Award. The shortlist of finalists for the latter award, which is new for the Indepdent Hotel Show this year, has just been revealed, with the hospitality industry now invited to vote for the hotel they believe is worthy of this esteemed title.
