The Gourmet Food Wrap Company produces Chip Crowns

The Gourmet Food Wrap Company has devised a new way of serving and presenting French fries and other deep-fried products with the Chip Crown, a grease-proof paper wrap.

Product details:

The Chip Crown is a newspaper-style printed greaseproof paper that can be used as a standalone holder for French fries and other deep fried products or to line other holders such as mini-wire chip frying baskets or stainless steel serving buckets. The Gourmet Food Wrap Company is a newly-formed division of Chevler, the company which produces The Daily Catch, a printed food safe paper. It produced the new Chip Crowns in response to demands from restaurateurs and foodservice operators seeking novel ways of serving and presenting French fries and other deep fried products and help exercise portion control.

USP:

"Many restaurants are still serving fried product in cold wire baskets which quickly draws the heat from the cooked food. Not only do the Chip Crowns enhance presentation but the thermal properties of the paper used to make them helps keep the food served in them warmer for much longer," says The Gourmet Food Wrap Company's marketing manager Garry Parker.
