Tri-Star Packaging has added a portable ice bucket to its PortaBrands range of out-of-home drinks carriers, which it says could help operators drive sales of Champagne, wine and beer at outdoor events and venues this summer.

Product details:

The PortaChilla is a new style of ice bucket which is particularly suited for use outside in pub gardens or at high volume events where drinks need to be kept cold at the table. The ice bucket, which is capable of holding two bottles of Champagne or wine or up to eight bottles of beer, is made of kraft cartonboard lined with silicon to stop it leaking and can be branded to an operator's requirements. The product comes flat-packed, but features a pop-up configuration for easy assembly even during busy times.

USP:

With the event's season and summer just around the corner, operators may be looking for ways to better deliver cold drinks at outdoor events or outside areas, said PortaBrands managing director Kevin Curran. The flat-pack PortaChilla takes up less space than traditional ice buckets, is less likely to break and with the chance to be branded could offer sponsorship opportunities, keeping the cost down further.

Price:

On demand.

Availability:

From Tri-Star Packaging. Visit the website www.tri-star.co.uk or call the sales team on 020 8443 9100 for details.

Why you should buy it:

Curran said: “The PortaChilla really has to be seen to be believed. This is one of those innovations that can genuinely drive sales of high value items such as Champagne and white wine because it provides guests at outdoor events with a solution that significantly enhances their experience and enjoyment, especially on hot summer days.”
