Funkin Agave Nectar cocktail syrup

Cocktail manufacturer Funkin has launched a 100 per cent Agave Nectar, in a bid to capitalise on the increasing demand for skinny cocktails across the UK on-trade.

Funkin Agave Nectar is designed specifically for use in cocktails and long drinks as a sweetener/ Derived from Mexican blue agave plants, Funkin Agave Nectar has a light and mild flavour, ideal for mixing.

The syrup also has low viscosity, which allows it to pour consistently from the bottle and speed-pour and dissolve quickly in cold liquids.

USP:

Funkin Agave Nectar contains 40% fewer calories per serve than standard sugar syrup and is a low glycemic index (GI) sweetener.

Cost:

The cocktail syrup is selling at £5.96 per 36cl bottle or £32.50 for six. Deliveries are charged at cost set by catering supplier Eat to the Beat

The Funkin syrups are to benefit from new packaging, designed specifically with bartenders in mind. Flavoured syrups will be packed in 50cl bottles and sugar cane in a larger 70cl bottle. Consistent labelling with Funkin purées highlights the 100 per cent natural ingredients used throughout all Funkin products.

Funkin Agave Nectar and Funkin syrups have a shelf life of two years and should be consumed within four weeks once opened.
