Heinz Kitchen culinary bulk sauces
Product details:
The new range of sauces include:
- Lager and Lime BBQ
- Fiery Marrakesh
- Flamin’ Cajun
- Rocky Mountain Maple
- Steakhouse Supreme
As extensions to the new 930ml squeezy centre of plate sauces, these new additions have been created especially for the foodservice market by Heinz culinary development chefs.
Research from a recent Menumonitor Flavour Report showed that 28 per cent of all out-of-home dining guests and 43 per cent of 18 to 34-year-olds are more likely to try new flavours than one year ago.
The new sauces therefore offer professional chefs a versatile solution, which can be used in and around their best-selling dishes as marinades, bastes and dips, to create different flavour combinations.
Marrying with popular foods such as burgers, steak, grilled chicken and fish, the contemporary, full-flavoured sauces come in a 930ml squeezy format. This allows for easy and controlled application, helps to reduce wastage, keeps overheads low and has an eight-week-from-open shelf life.
USP:
The ‘quality assurance’ that the Heinz brand gives to consumers means that outlets can build margins on items containing the centre-of-plate sauces. Outlets can implement this by making the back-of-house sauces stand out front-of-house, featuring them on menus and leveraging the variety of merchandising solutions available, including branded ramekins, beer mats and cocktail flags.
This can increase brand visibility, reassure the consumer of the quality offering, allow price mark-up to boost profits, and offer a range of enticing and exotic menus.
Cost:
There is no fixed rrp from Heinz, it is at the discretion of the wholesaler.

Why should you buy it?
Daisy Lewis, brand manager at Heinz Foodservice, said: “The launch of our new sauces is one of our most exciting to date. We’ve taken a lot of time researching what modern consumers are looking for from eating out and have identified three key trend platforms – heat, modern classics and safe adventures.
“As a result, we’ve pushed the boundaries and created these five unique sauces, each packed with bold and exotic flavours which will allow chefs to confidently and cost-effectively enhance their best-selling dishes, whilst driving profitability.”
