Celentano’s, the Glasgow restaurant led by former Robin Gill alumnus Dean Parker, is to evolve into a restaurant with rooms next month.

Parker and his wife Anna are to take over management of the eight bedrooms within Cathedral House, the listed 1896 Scottish baronial-style B&B where they launched Celentano’s back in 2021.

“This is such an exciting time for the Celentano’s journey and a fantastic opportunity to help showcase what a great foodie city Glasgow is,” the couple said in a statement.

“Over the years we’ve welcomed Cathedral House B&B guests for a meal or a cocktail in the courtyard and so when the prospect came round, we felt it was a natural progression with the chance to streamline our offering.”

Spread over two floors, the bedrooms include three superking rooms, three doubles, one twin, and a loft conversion.

Each room will feature culinary themed artwork by SShepaints of Brighton and have small fridges filled with treats.

Breakfast will be prepared by the restaurant team and will include freshly baked sourdough bread with butter and seasonal compote; sweet pastries; and fruit and granola.

Guests will be able to choose to have breakfast in their room alongside in-room cafetieres and tea making facilities, which come as standard, or enjoy it in the breakfast room.

“We’re looking forward to the challenges and opportunities this next step presents,” added Dean and Anna.

Open Wednesday to Sunday, Celentano’s bed, breakfast and dinner rate will start at £285 per room and include the restaurant’s five course feasting menu.

A bed and breakfast only rate will start at £175 per room per night.

Celentano’s, which holds a Michelin Bib Gourmand, is inspired by Dean and Anna's love of Italian food, warm hospitality and local, seasonal produce.
