The Mayfair Chippy to launch Knightsbridge fish and chip restaurant

Upmarket fast casual fish and chips concept The Mayfair Chippy will launch a full-service restaurant in Knightsbridge early next month.

Close to Harrods on Brompton Road, The Mayfair Chippy Knightsbridge is billed as ‘a grand extension’ of the North Audley Street original. 

The new restaurant will offer a new all-day dining experience featuring quintessentially British dishes. 

Spread over two floors, it will also feature a Gin Bar and an outdoor dining space.

Dishes will include fried cod or haddock with fluffy chips, mushy peas, tartar and chip shop curry sauce or HP gravy; and The Mayfair Chippy Shepherd's Pie with braised lamb shoulder, HP gravy and seasonal greens.

Breakfast options, meanwhile, will include The Butcher’s Breakfast featuring Cumberland Sausage, Old Spot smoked bacon, roast tomato, Doreen’s black pudding, portobello mushroom, ‘posh’ baked beans, hash brown, sourdough toast and organic eggs; and The Fisherman’s Breakfast (cod sausage, treacle-cured salmon bacon, roast tomato, portobello mushroom, 'posh' baked beans, hash brown, sourdough toast and organic eggs.

Some dishes will be available to take away. 

The Gin Bar will present a selection of classic cocktails, alongside a variety of global wines. During breakfast hours, it will transform into a Bloody Mary Bar.

The original The Mayfair Chippy launched in 2015.
