Comptoir Libanais to open at London's Southbank Centre

Located at the Southbank Centre in London, the new restaurant will be located opposite the entrance of the Royal Festival Hall and is expected to open around Easter 2024.

The restaurant will have space for 135 covers with an additional 48-cover outside seating area and will be open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It will join restaurant brands Las Iguanas, Côte Brasserie and Honest Burgers restaurants in the area.

It's the second new opening announced by Comptoir Group this year. 

Back in October, the group returned to the expansion trail after a four year hiatus​​ with the opening of a new Comptoir Libanais restaurant in Ealing.

Comptoir Group owns and operates 27 Lebanese restaurants, six of which are franchised, based predominately in the UK. The flagship brand of the group, Comptoir Libanais, is currently a collection of 22 restaurants located across London and nationwide, including cities such as Manchester, Bath, Birmingham, Oxford and Exeter.

Additionally, the group operates counter service brand Shawa in Westfield and Bluewater shopping centres; Yalla-Yalla, which has sites near Oxford Circus and in Soho; and entertainment venue Kenza, located in London’s Devonshire Square.

The group has also expanded internationally with its franchise partners HMSHOST, with restaurants in the Netherlands, Qatar and Dubai, and will shortly be opening in Milan Malpensa Airport with AREAS.
