Mana cuts menu prices for hospitality workers
Manchester’s only Michelin starred restaurant has responded to the cost of living crisis by reducing its prices.

For a period starting on 1 November, Mana will reduce the price it charges for its full menu from £195 to £175 - and says it will offer a further reduction to those working in the restaurant industry.

Writing on Instagram the restaurant says: “After recently beginning a new period of creativity, we’ve been considering how accessible we are, because our work doesn’t mean as much to us if we’re not able to share it far and wide.

“Aside from our beloved guests, we thought about who else we really wanted to share our excitement with, and we quickly decided it should be others working in hospitality.”

Hospitality workers can experience the full menu on Wednesdays and Thursdays for £125 - £70 cheaper than the current menu price. All they need to do to prove they work in the industry is to show a recent payslip.

Mana was launched by chef-patron Simon Martin in late 2018 and won a Michelin star the following year.

It is currently ranked at number 71 in the list of the UK's Top 100 Restaurants.
