Billy and the Chicks to be replaced by "bowl food" restaurant
Russian chef and cookery TV presenter Zarifa Ragimova will lauch a bowl-food restaurant in Soho’s St Anne’s Court.

Ragimova will launch Bowls on the former site of Billy and the Chicks, in a deal secured by CDG Leisure.

The restaurant will serve an all-day menu of South American, Caribbean and Asian food served exclusively in bowls.

Breakfast offerings will include acai and smoothie bowls. Later in the day, the offer will include poke bowls; Buddha bowls; and burrito bowls.

The London site will be the first standalone restaurant for Ragimova, who trained at Le Cordon Bleu in London before securing a series of cookery TV shows that were broadcast in Russia.

“Soho will always be a prime destination for restaurateurs and Bowls will be a fantastic new addition to the area,” says Tom Crosthwaite of CDG Leisure.

“This new pan-global concept, offering something fast, tasty and healthy for customers, is guaranteed to be a huge success throughout the day.”

The restaurant takes the space formerly occupied by Billy and the Chicks, which is relocating to another site in a deal also secured by CDG Leisure. Bowls will join a line up of restaurants in the area, including Zelman Meats; Quo Vadis; Barrafina; Cay Tre; and Inamo.
