Homeslice to take a piece of the action at St. Christopher's Place
The launch will push Homeslice’s estate up to six sites, and the business will be relocating its head office staff to the third floor of the James Street property, set to open in the fourth quarter of 2018 once renovation is completed.
The St Christopher’s Place estate, which is owned by F&C Commercial Property Trust, comprises 43 buildings and 169 lettable units. Last week saw the landlord confirm Caprice Holdings’ Harry’s Bar to the area, which is set to open a 3,567sq ft site at the same time as Homeslice.
The two new arrivals to the development, which is valued at over £320m, will join the likes of Sri Lankan restaurant, Hoppers; and Ole & Steen Danish bakery.
“James Street and St Christopher’s Place is really exciting to us, it’s somewhere we’ve always wanted a presence,” say Homeslice’s owners, Alan and Mark Wogan and Ry Jessup.
“We are working closely with the landlords on creating a space unique to Homeslice and the area, that will open in the new year. The wood fired oven will continue to be the centrepiece, serving our 20” pizzas, whole or by the slice, eat in, to go or delivery."
Founded in 2013, Homeslice offers a short menu of pizzas – available by the whole pie or by the slice – and drinks. The company now operates sites in Neal’s Yard; Fitzrovia; Shoreditch; the City; and White City.
