Top hotels must target China
London's luxury hotels need to be more 'proactive' to attract high-spending Chinese tourists or risk losing out to other European cities, the British Hospitality Association (BHA) has warned. The UK welcomes just over 300,000 visitors from China each year, compared to 1m in France. Now the BHA is calling on hotels to improve staff language skills and offer Chinese beer and noodles in mini-bars to attract visitors.
