The South West-based Beckford Group will open its first hotel later this year.

Expected to launch in Autumn, Teffont House will have 16 en-suite bedrooms, a walled kitchen garden, a spa and a newly-built orangery-style dining room.

Previously Howard’s House hotel, the property is located in the village of Teffont Evias in Wiltshire’s Nadder Valley.

The launch will take the rapidly expanding group’s total number of venues up to seven.

Founded by Dan Brod, Charlie Luxton and Matt Greenlees, Beckford Group recently moved into the restaurant space with the Beckford Canteen in Bath, which is headed by high-profile chef George Barson.

Opened earlier this year, the site joined the trio’s The Beckford Bottle Shop, also in Bath, and four country inns with rooms dotted across Wiltshire and Somerset.

More details about the project are expected to be announced soon.
