Opening in January on Chinatown’s Wardour Street, the 950sq ft restaurant will be split across two floors. The ground floor dining room will be a modern bistro, with the lower ground floor delivering a more intimate dining setting.
The menu will comprise Sichuan comfort food, focusing on noodle-based dishes such as xian jian niu rou main, stir-fried beef slices with three types of fresh chilli; and tian-shui mian, handmade thick udon noodles served with a sweet and spicy sauce.
There will also be a selection of beers with everything from local independent products to well-known Asian beers, on a monthly international rotation.
“Born from a desire to bring the simple pleasures that come from pairing noodles with beer to a new audience, the expansion of Noodle & Beer to Chinatown London is fundamental in achieving this,” says Xiaoxiao Wang, founder of Noodle & Beer.
“For the Chinese and ESEA community, Chinatown London is more than just a place for authentic food; it’s a cultural anchor always buzzing with life.
“Joining a destination that holds such a special place in our hearts feels incredibly full circle for me, and we look forward to bringing a distinct selection of food and drink that people from far and wide can come together and enjoy.”
