Pretty Decent Beer Co (PDBC) is expanding its presence in East London with a new taproom in a historic canal-side building by Victoria Park.

Launching early next month, the venture will initially offer food from some of London’s top street food vendors, served from trucks outside the taproom, including Hanoi Cà Phê, and Emerald Eats.

In early 2025, the team behind Mexican Seoul will set up a permanent kitchen on-site, bringing with them a new food concept called Seouls of Mischief.

Seating a total of 120, the space is split into two areas: a cosy front bar ‘perfect for quiet pints and date nights’, and a lively communal beer hall in the back of the building, which was once a distillery.

The spacious area includes nostalgic touches like an arcade machine and a foosball table.

This new venue will feature 14 side-pour taps, offering the largest selection of Czech-style side-pour taps in the UK.

Guests will find a variety of beer styles, from hazy IPAs to fruit sours, alongside vegan, gluten-free, and alcohol-free options.

The drinks menu also includes a wine list that is focused on sustainable and low-intervention producers, a cocktail menu of the team’s favourite classics, and a few surprises, including the Viccy Park Soft Serve – a beer-infused soft serve ice cream.

The new venture will join PDBC’s brewery and taproom on Walthamstow’s Blackhorse Beer Mile.
