Mission Mars has seen 18 record weeks of trading at its Albert’s Schloss venue in London, according to CEO Roy Ellis.

Speaking at the Peach 20/20 Leaders Summit in London this week, Ellis said the newest site within the group’s four-strong Bavarian bier palace concept is “pretty much going the way we hoped it would.”

The group opened Albert’s Schloss on London’s Shaftesbury Avenue in the summer. Occupying an 18,000sq ft space spread across two floors and representing a £8m investment, it is the biggest Schloss in the group with a capacity of more than 500 covers.

It was named Opening of the Year at the 2024 R200 Awards earlier this month, with Mission Mars also taking home the award for Restaurant Group of the Year (over 20 sites).

Ellis also revealed that Mission Mars may open up to 10 sites under the Rudy’s Pizza Napoletana brand over the next 12 months.

Rudy’s currently operates 26 pizzerias across the UK and is looking to maximise both existing sites while actively opening new ones, according to Ellis.

Earlier this year, Mission Mars reported group revenue of £71.1m, up from £47.1m the previous year, with Albert’s Schloss contributing £32.3m (up from £21.6m) and Rudy’s £29.3m (up from £16.1m).
