London-based burger and brassiere brand Haché shutters four restaurants as it prepares to appoint administrators
London-based burger and brassiere brand Haché has filed a notice of intention to appoint administrators having closed nearly all of its London sites.

The group’s restaurants in Balham, Camden and Chelsea, which all traded under Haché’s core burger brand, have shut, as has the Haché Brassiere restaurant in Kingston.

It comes after Haché, which is part of The Hush Collection and led by founders Jamie Barber and Ed Standring, drafted in advisers from Interpath Advisory last month to explore a sale of the business.

At the time the group said it had received ‘considerable interest’ in its remaining estate after selling its sites in Clapham and Shoreditch last year.

Restaurant understands that Haché has faced challenges in returning to pre-Covid levels, with rising food, energy, and labour costs impacting performance disproportionately.

The group’s restaurant in Holborn, which was rebranded under the Haché Brasserie concept last year before subsequently being flipped again to trade as Hush Holborn, remains open, with the directors currently exploring options for the site.

Haché Burger Connoisseurs Limited filed a notice of intention to appoint administrators yesterday (11 November), and it is expected that the administrators will be appointed in the coming week.

Interpath declined to comment.
