The new location will be the group’s sixth bricks and mortar site in the capital and its first to be set over two floors.
Its announcement comes hot on the heels of The Salad Project taking home the Scalable Concept Award at Restaurant’s annual R200 Awards earlier this week.
The double-floor layout at Tottenham Court Road will include a mezzanine level with a large communal seating area.
As with The Salad Project’s other sites, the restaurant will offer a range of customisable salad options, as well as grain and rice bowls.
“The Tottenham Court Road store is a significant step forward for us,” says James Dare, co-founder of The Salad Project.
“This location will not only expand our presence but also enhance the social and community aspect of dining with The Salad Project.
“Our mezzanine area and communal space are designed to be spaces where people can gather, connect, and enjoy our salads together, making it a truly special experience.”
Dare founded The Salad Project with Florian de Chezelles in 2021, and launched its first site in Spitalfields.
Locations in Bank, Oxford Circus and Mansion House followed.
The group also operates a single Deliveroo Editions kitchen in Battersea.
The Salad Project has previously set out an ambitious plans to reach 20 sites by 2028.
Back in summer it launched a multifaceted restaurant site on Fenchurch Street in the City of London that also operates as a training academy and menu development hub.
