Sandwich Sandwich’s catering options include a range of buffets and platters featuring the group’s range of deep-filled sandwiches alongside savoury pastries such as Scotch eggs, sausage rolls and pies; crisps; and sweet choices like cheesecake and chocolate brownies.
“We’re not just raising the bar — we're redefining what catering can be,” says Nick Kleiner, founder of Sandwich Sandwich.
The group, which was launched by Kleiner back in 2010 as Gotham Sandwich Co and subsequently changed its name to Sandwich Sandwich in 2012, opened its first London outpost in July at the junction of Gresham Street and St Martins Le Grand in The City.
It also operates three sites in Bristol.
Sandwich Sandwich’s arrival in London came after it was named the Uber Eats UK and Ireland's Restaurant of the Year in October last year, securing a prize of £100,000 to invest in the business.
The brand’s popularity has skyrocketed in recent years thanks to social media, with the visual impact of its deep-filled sandwiches proving to be a viral smash on Instagram.
Speaking back in the summer, Joshua Kleiner, son of Nick and head of operations and marketing at Sandwich Sandwich, revealed that the group would be opening a second outpost in the capital before the end of the year, although is yet to confirm an exact location.
The group then aims to open a ‘four or five more’ sites in London next year before turning its attention to expanding both across the UK and internationally.
“There is no reason why Sandwich Sandwich will not take over Pret a Manger or Subway,” Joshua said at the time.
“They are outdated. I believe those companies haven’t changed with the times. People are so fed up.”
