Pan-Asian QSR group Chopstix has moved into the omnichannel retail space with the launch of its new Wok Pot range.

Developed and brought to market in collaboration with Chopstix partners AAK Foods and Brandship, the new cooking sauce pots will be available in over 500 Iceland and Food Warehouse stores across the UK, priced at £2 for a box containing four pots.

The new ‘Wok Pots’ are available in two variants – Sweet and Sour and Teriyaki, which are both staple sauces of the Chopstix menu.

“We’re delighted to be bringing this range of cooking sauces to supermarket aisles across the country, giving Chopstix fans an opportunity to recreate our much-loved dishes at home,” says Elio Elia, head of product at Chopstix.

“Launching in retail is an important step in our ambition to bring the Chopstix brand and our signature flavours to even more people in the UK, and brand extension through new product development such as this will be critical in us achieving these long-term goals.”

Chopstix was established in Camden Market in 2002 by entrepreneurs Sam Elia and Menashe Sadik and now comprises more than 150 sites across the UK and Ireland through a mix of company owned and operated locations, and franchises run through partnerships with the likes of Sparta Foods, Welcome Break and Applegreen.

The group comprises Chopstix Noodle Bar, Yangtze and Chozen Noodle brands, the latter of which it acquired last year.
