Bristol-based steakhouse brand Cow & Sow is opening its first restaurant beyond the south west with a new site in Birmingham.

Located at One Chamberlain Square in Birmingham’s Paradise development, the new restaurant will be the contemporary dining brand’s third site, joining its locations in Bristol, and will open its doors in late 2024,

The steakhouse brand serves a menu of steaks and chops, including 35-day aged flat iron, sirloin, ribeye, and fillet and pork ribeye and tomahawk alongside a range of sharer and small plates such as Spanish Padron peppers; house pork rinds; sticky pork belly; and ox cheek and cheddar croquettes.

Also on the menu is its Cow & Sow burger made with a beef patty and BBQ pulled pork and fish of the day.

Small plates start at around £6 with steaks priced at £21 to £32 while an express lunch menu is available at £14 for a single course and £22 for three courses.

Cow & Sow was founded by Mark Warburton in January 2022 (pictured below) following the successful sale of part of his pub business in 2021. A second Cow & Sow opened in December the same year.

“Our team has worked tirelessly to bring Cow & Sow to Birmingham,” says Warburton.

“The Paradise location is a dream come true, and we are honoured to join the ranks of esteemed neighbours like Dishoom, Albert’s Schloss, F1® Arcade, and Rosa’s Thai.

"We look forward to bringing a new era of steak restaurant to Birmingham and work closely with local charities, businesses, local communities and visitors.”

“We’ve been working on the planning and design for almost a year, and we’re excited to see it come to fruition.”
