Farmer J makes West London debut with Hammersmith site
Fast casual ‘farm-to-fork’ restaurant chain Farmer J will launch its first site in West London at the end of this month.

In Hammersmith, the 10 Hammersmith Road restaurant brings the group up to a total of 11 London sites.

The new Hammersmith site celebrates its industrial origins, leveraging the existing exposed wall textures, blockwork and castellated beams to maintain an ‘authentic, raw aesthetic’.

Other design details include warm pink oak joinery; bold terrazzo tiles with timber herringbone patterns; and walls that showcase Farmer J’s signature green and neutral tones.

“We are always looking to grow so that more people are able to enjoy our food, so it’s incredibly exciting to be bringing Farmer J to West London for the first time,” says founder Jonathan Recanti.

“As we continue to expand our mission, to bring nutritious food that doesn’t compromise on flavour, remains the same - this is exactly what our customers can expect at Hammersmith.”

Launched in 2014, Farmer J secured a £1.9m investment from sector investor Imbiba in 2019.

Early this year it secured £5.5m from transatlantic venture capital firm Beringea to fund its expansion in London and the US.

Farmer J says it expects to launch a further six London locations this year.
