Maginhawa Group to open second Filipino bakery
London-based Filipino restaurant business Maginhawa Group is opening a second site of its popular bakery brand Panadera this summer.

The group, which is also behind brands including ice cream parlour Mamasons, Ramo Ramen and modern Filipino restaurant Donia, will open what it calls Panadera 2 on Picton Place in London’s Marylebone.

The filipino bakery and coffee house brand is best known for its specialty coffees such as the ube latte and its range of sandos that includes a corned beef hash sando; panko chicken and mushroom sando; and egg and truffle sando; as well as its pandesal - a traditional Flipino milk bun.

Posting on Instagram, the group said the new site will feature its signature products as well as some new additions to the menu.

Panadera launched in 2021, taking over the one of the dining room spaces of Maginhawa Group’s pan-Asian restaurant Bintang in Kentish Town.

“We’ve been working hard to create a space that feels just as warm and welcoming as our first location, and we can’t wait for you to experience it,” it says.
