The company behind The Woodspeen and The Clockspire is marking 10 years with two new projects.

First up is The Braywood, a contemporary restaurant on the former site of Royal Oak in Paley Street, near Bray.

Expected to launch in November, the venture will see the building’s historic core ‘sympathetically revitalised’ to create a 70-cover restaurant and a destination cocktail bar.

The kitchen will be led by head chef Sam Brennan, who previously cooked at The Woodspeen.

WSH Restaurants has also acquired a site in London’s Fitzrovia that will mark its debut in the capital.

The two new ventures will bring WSH Restaurants total number of sites to six, joining The Woodspeen in Newbury, The Clockspire on the Dorset/Somerset border, The Sparsholt in Wantage and The Boxford in Newbury.

“As we continue to see growth across our restaurants, we are thrilled to be able to create internal opportunities for the talent we’re nurturing, and for new candidates too. We are very proud of our reputation for impeccable training and standards and it has been a pleasure to watch and support flourishing careers over the last 10 years,” says managing director Alessandro Fasoli.
