Soho stalwart Bocca Di Lupo will close for a refurbishment this summer that will include a refreshed dining room.

Jacob Kenedy’s much-loved Italian restaurant will close after service on Sunday 4 August and reopen on Monday 2 September.

It will undergo renovations including a new interior for its private dining room, an upgrade to the kitchen, and a refresh throughout.

In an email to customers the restaurant says that the ‘most exciting part of the renovation’ will be the revamping of its downstairs private dining room, which ‘will retain its sumptuous feel, with a refreshed interior complete with beautifully hand painted walls and marble panelling’.

Last year Bocca Di Lupo celebrated its 15th birthday and earlier this year saw a change of personnel, with Gareth Saywell taking over as head chef from Jake Simpson, who left the restaurant to lead the kitchen at The Rectory in Wiltshire.
