Wingstop UK has been named as the fastest growing restaurant group in the UK by The Sunday Times 100 for the second year in a row.

The chicken-focused QSR brand, has been ranked 38th on the list, the highest of any restaurant group, with 122% revenue growth over the past 12 months.

Wingstop UK is set to complete what it says is a year of record expansion, with 15 new openings planned by the end of 2024. Next week, it will open its largest site yet at Westfield Stratford City in a 5,000sq ft site that will have space for 160 covers. This follows openings in Wood Green, Croydon, Merry Hill, Clapham, Watford, and Leeds in the last three months alone.

Since launching in the UK market in 2018, Wingstop UK now operates 48 sites nationwide and employs more than 2,000 people.

“We’re absolutely delighted to have been recognised as one of the UK’s fastest-growing companies for the second year in a row," say Tom Grogan and Herman Sahota, co-founders of Lemon Pepper Holdings, the master franchisee for Wingstop UK.

"It’s a testament to the brilliant work of all our employees and to the loyal wing-lovers up and down the country, who drive us to keep growing. With our largest site yet opening next week and many more in the pipeline, this is just the beginning – we can’t wait to see what the future brings for Wingstop UK.”
