New York-style bagel concept It’s Bagels will open a second London site in August following the success of its location in Primrose Hill.

The group will open on Kensington Park Road on the corner of Westbourne Grove in Notting Hill.

Spread across 500sq ft, the new site will comprise a 14-cover café and 16-cover outdoor terrace.

It's Bagels is the brainchild of New York-born fashion and portrait photographer Dan Martensen, who launched the brand in partnership with Jack Ponting, head baker and pastry chef for Caravan.

The pair debuted their It’s Bagels concept at the Caravan Roastery in Camden, and went to operate it as a delivery service across the capital before launching a bricks and mortar site on Regent's Park Road in September last year.

“When we opened last year, we could only hope for a positive response. We knew we loved the product, but to see London embrace us, has been truly amazing,” says Martensen.

“We could not be more excited to open a second location in Notting Hill, a neighbourhood we love.”

As with the Primerose Hill site, the Notting Hill menu will feature a range of freshly-baked bagels made on site daily with flavours such as poppy, plain, sesame, garlic, and onion.

There will also be the range of cream cheese ‘schmears’ available along with a selection of smoked fish, deli salads, hot and cold drinks, all available to eat in or take away.
