Israeli bakery and café group Roladin is to open a second London store under its boutique bakery brand Donutelier later this year having secured a site on Carnaby Street.

Operating alongside the group’s original site on Charing Cross Road, which launched in late 2022, the new 1,300sq ft site will serve Donutelier’s signature selection of luxury donuts.

Varieties include chocolate pretzel; vanilla cookie cream; pink royal; pistachio; dulcey peanut caramel; and passion coconut.

It will also serve a range of patisserie including croissants, cruffins and cookies.

“Donutelier’s new opening on Carnaby Street is a very exciting move for us and we are delighted to be joining the heart of the renowned high street,” says Théa Marks, chief operating officer at Donutelier.

The opening was confirmed by Shaftesbury Capital, the West End landlord whose portfolio includes Carnaby.

“Given Carnaby Street’s prominence as a retail hotspot, it’s a good fit to introduce a boutique, patisserie-inspired operation to the centre of the street, reflecting consumer demand,” says Michelle McGrath, executive director at Shaftesbury Capital.

“It will provide the opportunity for a stop-and-pause moment for visitors, and reinforces Soho’s position as a fantastic mixed-use destination, which is continuing to evolve.”
