Occupying a ground floor space at the new Stage Plaza development on Curtain Road, the 34-cover restaurant overlooks the entrance to the upcoming Museum of Shakespeare.
It will operate alongside Sushi Revolution’s original restaurant, which was launched in Brixton back in 2021.
Founded by friends and colleagues Tom Blackshaw and Aidan Bryan, Sushi Revolution’s concept is described as being a ‘modern interpretation of a traditional Japanese izakaya’.
“We aim to serve great food and drinks, quickly, in a great venue, with great service at a great price,” explains Blackshaw.
“It’s not always easy, but hopefully if we can do that our guests will keep coming back.”
Dishes to feature on the menu include tuna tartare served with goat’s cheese and truffle onion soy; and chicken karaage nanban served with yuzu kosho mayonnaise, red onion, spring onion, sesame and tonkatsu.
There’s also an extensive range of sashimi and nigiri plates, as well as maki rolls and sushi platters to share.
Drinks include a selection of beers, sake and wine, as well as cocktails created using the Dalston’s Soda range.
