Phil Howard and Julian Dyer will open a third venue of their casual pasta group NOTTO later this year with more sites in the pipeline.

Opening in South Kensington, the 130-cover restaurant will be significantly bigger than the brand’s first two West End sites in Piccadilly and Covent Garden and will mark a move westward for the company.

The company also says it intends to open a fourth site in the Spitalfields market area, according to Restaurant’s sister title MCA, and is looking at further central London locations including Marylebone, High Street Kensington, and Soho.

“It is definitely a model to roll out, without a doubt. If we can keep that quality, which we should be able to with a central kitchen and the professional team of people that we’ve got,” Dyer told MCA.

The group currently employs Louis Korovilas as its executive chef with George Seciu head chef of the Covent Garden restaurant.

NOTTO was originally established as a pasta delivery service in 2021. It moved into bricks and mortar in 2022 taking a former Costa Coffee site in Piccadilly and in November last year doubled up with a second site on Covent Garden’s Henrietta Street.

In 2023 it was shortlisted as One to Watch in Restaurant’s R200 Awards.
