8 chef Andrew Sheridan to open small plates restaurant dishes in Prestatyn, North Wales
Chef Andrew Sheridan will launch a small plates restaurant Dishes in Prestatyn, north Wales, later this July.

Located on the seaside town’s high street, Dishes will serve small, ‘social’ plates of food alongside and a ‘carefully selected’ drinks list.

On Sundays, the restaurant will offer roast dinners on sharing platters for the table.

The Prestatyn venture will be part of Sheridan and his business partners Sam and Emma Morgan’s Open Restaurants Group (ORG).

It will join his Liverpool flagship 8 By Andrew Sheridan;Black & Green, in Barnt Green, Worcestershire; OXA in Oxton; and The Bracebridge in Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands.

“The concept for Dishes is that it will be small, social plates based around the food we love to cook and eat,” Sheridan says.

“We’ll combine great music, delicious food with wines, beers, and cocktails. We look forward to making our mark on this bustling Welsh high street.”

Born in Liverpool but raised in North Wales, Sheridan headed up The Stargazy Inn in Port Isaac and Sosban in Llanelli before overseeing two ventures at Birmingham’s International Convention Centre.
