Metropolis London will open at Albert Embankment’s Railway Arches at the end of May and will be an 8,000sq ft venue across two arches that will champion global cuisine as well as live events.
It will host a line-up of 11 local street-food vendors alongside a standalone bar and have space for 350 seated throughout indoor areas and an additional 150 outdoors in the expansive garden space.
Food vendors will include Mexican brand Birria Taco (main image); BBQ food truck Chipsy; Fresco Trattoria Pizzeria; Sri Lankan food vendor Karapincha; Filipino fodod concept Lorenzo Kusina; and Turkish vendor O’Gosht, alongside sushi from Asian Sekushi (pictured below); sandwiches from Sexy Buns; and Uzbekistan noodles and dumplings from Oshpaz.
Additional offers come from The Ice Cream Union’s new concept Gelato Lab and plant-based mylk teas and coffees from Nuttea.
The venue will feature a 15-metre standalone bar with its interiors draw inspiration from the streets of New York with artwork depicting street food scenes and imagery created for Metropolis London by graffiti artists. It will also house a central stage for live performances and eight 65-inch TV screens to show major sporting events.

Sustainability with be a focus of Metropolis London with all vendors committed to recycling packaging and minimising food waste with the entire venue plastic-free.
