Cult London fried chicken brand Morley’s has moved into the omnichannel retail space by launching its collaboration Heinz x Morley’s Fried Chicken Sauce into supermarkets.

The sauce, which was first served at a Heinz x Morley’s restaurant pop up last summer, is now available to buy in Tesco stores nationwide and via Ocado with an RRP of £3.39.

A special Heinz x Morley’s Fried Chicken Sauce limited edition menu available at Morley’s restaurants nationwide from 11 May.

“It’s going to be a dream come true to see our family business’ name in supermarkets across the country,” says Shan Selvendran, one of the co-owners of Morley’s.

Blended by Heinz in partnership with Morley’s, the sauce is made with tomatoes, paprika, onions, and a hint of chilli.

“Heinz x Morley’s Fried Chicken Sauce is a flavour bomb; sweet and spicy, designed to take your meal to new heights,” says Thiago Rapp, head of sauces at Heinz.

“Fried Chicken is one of Britain's most consumed dishes, more so than fish and chips! So, it made perfect sense to bring together our passion for making the nation’s most loved sauces, and the cult-love for Morley’s.

“We’ve created a sauce that enhances the flavour of any dish, whether you’re a fried chicken aficionado or simply love good food, this sauce is a game-changer.”

Morley's operates more than 100 sites across the UK.
