The Taiwanese group will open a second venue under its Master Bao brand at Westfield Stratford City, which will follow on from the success of its kiosk in Westfield London.
Opening on 23 May, the new site will offer all the Master Bao classics as well as a brand new bubble tea menu and exclusive dishes. It will also feature a noodle room.
Dishes will include Master Bao’s signature Taiwanese fried chicken; bao buns; fresh noodles made in-house; rice dishes; beef noodle soup; and a hot chicken bao.
"We’ve had our eye on a site in Westfield Stratford for a while so jumped at the opportunity to bring our menu to a new part of London," says co-founder Abhinav Malde.
"We’ve really taken this opportunity to build on everything we’ve learnt in the past - from the menu to design - to make this new Master Bao the best it can be”.
The group made its debut with the opening of Mr Bao in Peckham in 2015. This was followed by Daddy Bao in Tooting in 2018, which was opened in honour of co-founder Frank Yeung's father Joe, who retired in 2017 after 32 years running his Jade Restaurant in Salisbury.
It opened Master Bao at Westfield London in White City in 2019.
