Set to open its doors later this year, SanHao is the latest addition to Chinatown London from the restaurateurs behind Hong Kong style café The Eight, and Pan-Asian concept YiQi.
The restaurant will occupy a 3,000sq ft space on the corner of Gerrard Street and Gerrard Place and will serve a menu that will focus on traditional hand-pulled noodle dishes, from ban mian to soups from across China and Southeast Asia, as well as cooked to order, pan-fried buns.
Menu highlights will include Alaska crab noodles; black truffle wild mushroom noodle soup; and cappuccino free range chicken noodle soup.
The restaurant’s interior has been inspired by the contemporary style of Jiangnan in Eastern China, and features a design palette of black, white, and grey.
“SanHao’s debut in Chinatown London marks another successful collaboration with Shaftesbury Capital and we are delighted to bring an authentic experience to what is the leading ESEA cultural hub in the UK," says Keng Yew Leong, founder of SanHao.
"The success of The Eight and YiQi fills us with great confidence in how our SanHao concept will be received by visitors and we look forward to opening our doors to the Chinatown London community later this year.”
YiQi opened on Lisle Street in Chinatown earlier this year celebrating a range of cuisines from across the ESEA region.
