Shake Shack will open its first train station restaurant in the UK and its second within a travel hub.

The US burger brand is set to open in St Pancras International, home to the Eurostar, in early summer.

The new restaurant will be Shake Shack's 16th UK location, joining sites in locations including Brent Cross, Canary Wharf, Covent Garden, Oxford, and Cardiff.

It will be the brand's second site within a travel hub, joining its venue at Gatwick Airport's North Terminal, which opened in October 2019.

Earlier this month, Shake Shack appointed Papa Johns CEO and president Rob Lynch as its CEO and board member. Lynch succeeds Randy Garutti, who announced his retirement late last year.

Shake Shack operates a total of 430 burger restaurants worldwide, with its UK sites run under a master franchise agreement by Diverse Dining.
