Chickpea Group to open The Manor House in Ditcheat Bruton
The trio behind the Wiltshire based Chickpea Group have acquired a seventh pub in what will be their first venue in the county of Somerset.

The Manor House will open in the village of Ditcheat near Bruton in June and will have two dining spaces as well as seven bedrooms upstairs.

Chickpea Group is owned and run by brother and sister Ethan and Jordan Davids, along with their friend Tommy Tullis. It operates a number of gastropubs in the south west, including The Silver Plough in Pitton; The Queen’s Head in Broad Chalke; The Bell & Crown in Zeals; The Grosvenor Arms in Hindon; The Pembroke Arms in Wilton; and The Dog & Gun, Netheravon.

It also has two pizzerias under the Nole brand - Nole on the Square in Sailsbury; and Nole in the Barn in Wilton.

The Manor House will have 50 covers inside the main pub where a classic Chickpea pub menu will be served, as well as a 40-cover space in what will be the Nole pizza kitchen.

The menu will be overseen by executive chef Harry Russell.

'We are so excited to head west and get stuck into the Somerset food and drink scene," says Ethan Davids.

"The Manor House is a truly beautiful pub with cosy nooks and plenty of outside space. It offers everything we look for in a Chickpea country boozer. The pub has always been incredibly well-supported by the local area, so we hope people are as excited about our plans as we are. We’re buzzing to meet our new locals at the bar."

Earlier this year Chickpea Group announced the purchase of its latest venue in the founders’ hometown of Salisbury. The Market Inn in Salisbury’s market square will reopen next month.
