French luxury karaoke brand BAM Karaoke Box will open in London this spring with a food offer led by chef Sabrina Gidda.

The 10,000sq ft venue will be the largest karaoke venue in Europe and have 22 private karaoke rooms, a BAM BAM bar, an outdoor terrace and a live music stage and DJ booth.

Former Bernardi’s chef Gidda has been appointed as consultant culinary director and will create a menu of modern European cuisine with French influence.

Served both in the BAM BAM Bar and in the room, guests can select from a menu of small plates that will include devilled eggs gribiche with crispy parsley; steak tartare croustade with dijonnaise; and Maldon cure salmon rilettes with pickled cucumbers and crostini.

There will also be a selection of flatbreads including confit duck and orange marmalade; and Exmoor caviar with smoked salmon and creme fraiche and other dishes such as the BAM Fried Chicken with hot honey mustard; mini croque monsieurs with fennel salami and reuben sauce; smoked tomato croquettes; and a merguez sausage hot dog with yogurt aioli and herbs.

“Music is such a liberator, I love the energy and joy it can bring,” says Gidda.

“Our aim is to infuse that same dynamic energy into the F&B experience. The menu is bold, playful and vibrant - capturing the essence of what BAM Karaoke Box stands for.”

BAM was founded in Paris and stands for Boîte à Musique (music box).
