Burger and hot dog restaurant group Bangerz ‘n’ Burgerz has gone into liquidation with all its sites having closed.

The restaurant group, which was run by Bangerz ‘n’ Brewz Ltd, had restaurants on the south coast in locations including Chichester, Southampton, Port Solent, Brighton, Havant, and Rustington and had at one point operated an estate of seven restaurants.

The group was founded in 2018 with a little hot dog shop in Southsea, which was followed by our burger restaurant located just round the corner. Since then it has expended steadily along the south coast.

In July last year the group’s Brighton site was bought by rival burger business 7 Bone and in October it closed its Rustington restaurant having been opened for two years. The Chichester restaurant closed soon after.

Documents on Companies House reveal that the company appointed a voluntary liquidator on 1 February.

The group was known for the graffiti decor of its restaurants.
