Launched in 2017, Megan’s original Parsons Green location closed earlier this year because its limited capacity meant it ‘no longer aligned with the Megan’s model of large spacious sites that are the cornerstone of the communities they are in’.
The group replaced that site with a new Pan-Asian restaurant concept called Ollie’s House.
Set to open next month, the new Megan’s Parson Green will have 150 covers, including a 22-person private dining room and 24 covers outside.
A more spacious site will allow the team to 'deliver the full Megan’s experience', which is described as a ‘seamless day-to-night concept open from takeaway coffee in the morning and brunches through to romantic late-night dinners, celebrations and parties’.
The launch will bring the Megan’s brand up to a total of 19 new sites. The majority of the estate is located in London, but the group also operates regional Megan’s sites in Surbiton, St. Albans, Marlow, Welwyn Garden City and Guildford.
“It’s great to be back opening more sites, especially in an area we know and love. Our return to Parsons Green comes as we are set for another record year of profitable revenue growth and on track to exceed £30m of annual revenues and £5m of EBITDA across the group,” says Megan’s finance director Gill Clements.
The group says it has a total of four new sites lined up for 2024.
