The owners of Japanese restaurant Blue Sakura will launch a second venture in Leeds at the end of this month.

Billed as a ‘premium Oriental restaurant’, Blue Pavilion represents an investment of £3m.

Located in the Merrion Centre in central Leeds, the ground and first floor restaurant will occupy over 7,100 sq ft  and will encompass a 130-cover restaurant.

In addition, the adjoining first floor karaoke space, K-CUBE, accommodates circa 65 customers over six rooms.

Blue Pavilion will offer both set and a la carte menus that allow diner to ‘experience the rich tapestry of flavours, textures, and aromas that reflect the diverse regional cuisines of China’.

The drinks list will be reflective of the restaurant’s premium positioning with a range of fine wines and spirits.

“We are excited to announce the official opening date of Blue Pavilion in Leeds. We can’t wait to welcome guests to our beautiful venue and provide them with an unmatched experience,” says director Jack Lin.

Chiu Tong Huang, director at Blue Pavilion, added: “Our team has worked tirelessly to create a truly unique dining and entertainment experience that showcases the rich flavours of Chinese cuisine and the joy of karaoke.”

Blue Sakura launched nearby in 2018 and offers all-you-can-eat sushi and Asian-style grilled dishes.
