Paulo De Tarso joins LSL Capital as head of hospitality
Jamavar, MiMi Mei Fair and Socca operator LSL Capital has appointed Paulo De Tarso to the newly-created role of head of hospitality.

A well-known front-of-house figure within London hospitality, De Tarso will begin working at the group’s izakaya-style Japanese restaurant KOYN before ‘embarking on a journey’ across its portfolio of Mayfair-based restaurants.

De Tarso’s CV includes key roles at some of the capital best-known restaurants including The Wolseley, Scott’s Mayfair and Daniel Boulud’s now closed Bar Boulud.

In 2016 he launched Italian restaurant Margot in Covent Garden but stepped away from the business in 2020.

“I’ve seen Paulo’s work over the years and am delighted for him to join LSL Capital,” says LSL Capital co-founder Samyukta Nair, who was named Restaurateur of the Year at Restaurant’s National Restaurant Awards earlier this year.

“His dedication to the industry and passion for hospitality is incredible, and I’m excited to work together and build a community we are going to be proud of.”

De Tarso added: “LSL Capital is a fantastic business and embodies much of my own ethos when it comes to hospitality. The restaurants are conceptual and offer guests a unique experience, which is something I hope to build on through joining Samyukta and her team.”

The LSL Capital portfolio comprises Jamavar, Bombay Bustle, KOYN, MiMi Mei Fair and Socca.
