A new sushi bar concept is to launch its first site later this month at KERB’s Seven Dials Market in London’s Covent Garden.

Sukoshi Sushi will take a corner spot in the food hall’s Cucumber Alley, operating a ‘theatrical’ food bar alongside a dedicated seating area for up to 12 diners.

The menu will feature a selection of freshly prepared sushi rolls and sashimi alongside other Japanese dishes such as shumai, a type of traditional Chinese dumpling made with prawns that’s served with a soy-based dipping sauce.

‘Signature’ sushi options will include a crunchy tuna roll, a blanched asparagus and tuna roll coated in tempura flakes, layered with seared tuna and topped with a soy-based mix.

Sukoshi Sushi is the creation of chef Andrew Le.

“Opening a sushi bar in Seven Dials Market is a dream come true for us,” he says.

“It's the result of hard work, dedication, and a genuine love for crafting delectable sushi.

Creating mouth-watering rolls and sashimi, and sharing them with others, brings immense joy and fulfilment.

“It's a privilege to bring people together through Sukoshi's small bites with big flavours.”

Launching on 18 September, Sukoshi Sushi will be open daily from midday Monday to Friday and from 11am on weekends.
